The Madox Grey Aniseed-Scented Bird Cage Sand – 20 kg is specially designed for use as a floor covering in bird cages, aviaries and pigeon lofts.

Its composition combines washed and dried sand, fine dried shell particles and aniseed essence, providing a granular mineral covering for the regular maintenance of bird enclosures.

Grey Sand for Bird Cages and Aviaries

Madox Grey Aniseed-Scented Sand is intended for lining the floors of cages and other bird enclosures suitable for sand bedding.

Its 0–2 mm particle size allows it to be spread evenly across the floor.

The sand can be replaced during routine cleaning to help maintain a clean environment for birds and pigeons.

A Blend of Sand, Shell Particles and Aniseed

The formulation contains:

• Washed and dried sand: the main component of the floor covering.

• Fine dried shell particles: contributing to the product's mineral texture.

• Aniseed essence: providing its characteristic fragrance.

The product is supplied as fine mineral granules.

A Distinctive Aniseed Fragrance

Aniseed essence gives Madox Grey Bird Cage Sand its characteristic scent.

Under the recommended storage conditions, the product retains its aniseed fragrance for approximately 6 months.

This period refers to fragrance retention during storage and does not indicate how long the scent will remain noticeable once the sand has been spread inside a cage.
